AgeJet can perform a non-surgical eye lift (Blepharoplasty). Because it is not a laser, it is safe enough to treat right up to the lash line. Depending on your goals, the area we treat and the conditions we are addressing, this will determine the appropriate strength used during your treatment.
LOW ENERGY – 0.5 to 1 Joules – this will improve fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and increase your skin’s permeability. Permeability helps your skin with topical product absorption and efficacy. Low energy is very effective in mitigating acne bacteria. Your skin will appear refined and there is very little to no downtime. Several treatments may be required.
For most AgeJet appointments, you will typically need 2 to 2.5 hours depending on the energy levels you choose. We will begin by taking photographs with our Myecet Skin Analyzer. If you decide to have topical numbing, you will relax for 30-40 minutes while this takes affect. Following this, we will hydrate your face with a mask for 10-15 minutes. Then we are ready to begin the treatment. For a full face, this usually takes 30-45 minutes and includes your eyes and jawline. Once the treatment is complete, will apply a Lipid Recovery Mask for 10-15 minutes. This will calm and sooth the skin. We will provided you with aftercare products as well as aftercare instructions. When you leave, your face could be red but will feel comfortable.

Often we will apply a topical numbing cream for approximately 30 minutes. The AgeJET handpiece will be passed over the treatment area. You will hear little “blast” sounds and the sensation is similar to a small elastic band. The sensation is tolerable and quick. Once the treatment is over, you may see redness and some people experience some swelling. Treatment times are between 30-45 minutes, depending on the area you would like treated.
Downtime will vary from person to person. But most people can can expect 4-10 days of downtime. But you are not required to recover at home. You might experience moderate peeling depending on the strength of the treatment and there will most likely be some redness and mild tenderness for around 2 days. After this, the skin will go quite dry. After 3-4 days, you should start to naturally shed the skin.
You can expect to see tighter skin over the treated area immediately. Once you skin peels 3-4 days after the treatment, new skin regeneration will result in smoother, firmer and more rejuvenated skin. Treatment results can continue to improve for up to 12 months following treatment.
During your consultation we will provide you with a recommended course of treatments. Depending on your goals, this can be between 1 to 4 treatments and you can have them once every 4 weeks.
