Alma Lasers have created the DyeVL laser attachment for the Harmony XL Pro laser treatment to help eradicate varicose and spider veins and vascular lesions using a unique wavelength of light.
Spider veins are blood vessels that become enlarged and visible due to weakened valves, which cause blood to pool rather than flow to the heart.
Alma Lasers has created the DyeVL Laser attachment for the Harmony XL Pro laser treatment to eradicate spider veins and vascular lesions with a unique wavelength of light. The laser is used to cause selective heating within the red blood vessels or thread veins only, thus protecting surrounding skin and other tissue.
This specific targeting of the heat causes the blood to coagulate and the tiny veins to collapse in on themselves, eventually being absorbed and removed by the body over time. Using Alma’s Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT™) an advanced form of Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is used to target the veins and doesn’t waste any light energy produced which creates a more effective treatment.
Dye lasers have become the gold standard option for treating and removing vascular or vein related problems over the years.
As well as the efficient use of light energy, the treatment also has contact cooling which is delivered at the same time. This is done using a cold sapphire tip which cools the skin as the Dye-VL is delivered which reduces any pain, and minimises, even further, the change of any damage to the skin’s surface as the area is kept cold throughout treatment.
A course of 2-6 treatments is recommended.
